I hope this review is helpful for families that have a problem with gluten. Never! Usually, all food is prepped first and separate so that way there is no cross-contamination. I never dreamed of saying anything beforehand because we’ve never had an issue. When cooking the GF portion he used the same surface, at the same time, and used the same utensils while preparing the other entrées. However, on this most recent occasion, even though we mentioned to the server that we needed one portion to be gluten-free, the chef was not trained on this issue. They have gluten-free soy sauce and normally they do a very good job of. My son is a celiac and this is one of the few Asian restaurants that we have been able to go to regularly and have felt completely safe. Maybe it was because there were only two of us? More We weren't even three bites into our dinner! The same chef then went to other table and did a big show. The waitress came over and slapped down some to go containers and the bill. He did not put on a show just cooked the meal then left. The noodles were oily and no seasoning on anything. Needless to say the shrimp was rubber and the veggies were mush. He put on the noodles, veggies, shrimp then steak in that order. The chef came over and repeated what we had and started to cook. Our clear beef broth and very small salad with this orange dressing, that was so much if filled half the bowl. While waiting we saw a couple chefs doing their cooking entertainment and enjoyed that. shrimp for dinner and the price is double at dinner, so if you go lunch is better for price. The only difference in lunch and dinner is that you get 3. Due to social distancing we were the only ones at our table. The place is nice on the inside and you have a choice of dining or the hibachi.
